Omega is the largest mixed use development site in the North West, extending to some 775 acres. Over the last 11 years over 7m sq.ft. of manufacturing and logistics space has been developed. Occupiers include Home Bargains, Hermes Parcelnet, Travis Perkins, Brake Bros., Iceland Foods, Haydock Commercial Vehicle, Asda, Plastic Omnium, The Hut Group, Amazon, Dominos, Royal Mail, The Delivery Group, Jungheinrich, Gousto and CNG Fuels.

The Masterplan also permits 1,400 residential units of which some 900 have been sold to various national housebuilders. A 40 acre public park is at the heart of the scheme. A mixed use retail park has just been completed. Occupiers include Lidl, Costa and McDonalds. M2 Group has retained the development as part of its investment portfolio.

Planning consent was recently obtained for a 
2.3m sq.ft. extension of Omega. Construction work has commenced on a building extending to 
878,000 sq.ft. to be occupied by T J Morris (t/a Home Bargains). A 505,000 sq.ft. unit completed in October 2023 and will be occupied by Iceland Foods who are currently undertaking their fit-out works.
A Unit extending to 308,000 sq.ft. speculatively funded by Barings is currently available for occupation.

Omega 420

The most strategically important logistics location in the north west at Omega Business Park. Omega 420 is the last available plot at Omega South.
