Omega West Phase Four

What: Unit 4 Omega West – Reserved Matters

The hybrid planning permission for Omega West, granted by the Secretary of State in November 2021, included planning permission for Unit 1 (to be occupied by Home Bargains) and outline planning permission for 3 further large units. Units 2 and 3 are both now sold and under construction (due for completion later this year) but before we can make a start on Unit 4, we first need to divert a small watercourse which runs through the middle of that plot.

Now that we have certainty on the timing of the diversion works – they were subject to an earlier consent, granted in February, and will be undertaken over Spring/Summer 2023 – Unit 4 is being marketed by our letting agents (JLL & Avison Young), a reserved matters application has now been submitted to Warrington Borough Council to ensure all the consents are in place to allow a start on Unit 4 once the watercourse diversion is complete.
